OPERATION VIRGIN
getting Nick back where he belongs

After lengthy discussions with a radio insider, I have decided to launch Operation Virgin - the quest to get Nick back where he belongs - on the phones at Virgin Radio. Make sure you check out the Operation Virgin section on this site for details of how YOU can help to put Nick back on the late night phones.

BLACK THURSDAY
the day Talk Radio killed talk radio

A very, very dark day in British radio has come upon us - the man who I constantly refer to as the greatest broadcaster ever to grace the Bristish airwaves has been sacked from Talk Radio. From now onwards, Thursday 12th November 1998 will now be known as BLACK THURSDAY - the day Talk Radio killed talk radio.

Following the shocking Black Thursday sacking, several sections of this site have been updated and a couple of new ones have been added. Changes are constantly being made and improvements to the service I provide are always being implemented, so make sure you keep checking back for the very latest Nick Abbot news.

The Nick Abbot Site was established in March 1998 with the purpose of providing the very latest news and information on the most original and talented broadcaster in radio history. From an ordinary looking site with only a handful of sections, it has grown to be the most popular Nick Abbot Site on the Internet with regular news updates throughout the week, the only operating Nick Abbot Newsletter and the Quick Vote - a weekly poll set up to gauge the opinion of Nick's fans on Nick related issues every week.

There are also many other sections throughout the site full of information on Nick, pictures of the man himself, his interesting past, and lots more besides.

The Nick Abbot Site is dedicated to the man that is quite possibly the most gifted broadcaster ever to grace the British airwaves. It is always being updated, keeping you up to date with all the latest news wherever you are - so make sure you keep coming back!
